On June 25, Procure IT Fair organised a Roundtable on the topic of sustainable procurement of IT. The roundtable brought together NGO’s, trade unions, government officials and other interested parties to share experiences from various European countries.
On June 25, Procure IT Fair organised a Roundtable on the topic of sustainable procurement of IT. The roundtable brought together NGO’s, trade unions, government officials and other interested parties to share experiences from various European countries. Presentation were given by, among others;
- The Czech metalworkers’ trade union KOVO on labour conditions of contract workers in the Czech Republic;
- Members of the Procure IT Fair campaign discussing their national strategies in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Spain and The Netherlands;
- The city of Zurich, Switzerland detailing their sustainable procurement of computers in 2007;
- TCO Development, on the new TCO Label on sustainability, that will gradually include social criteria;
